For Gerd Klein, it is supposed to be his last fight as a professional boxer, but he collapses dead on the floor. His wife Maria suspects that something is not right and puts pressure on the powerful people behind the scenes. Shortly afterwards, she is also dead. Street kid Max happens to witness her murder.
