In part 2, the finale of this TV miniseries, a well-intentioned hacker brings down the entire power grid of Chicago just as three major storm systems are converging on the city, making it impossible to send out emergency alerts. Midwest Power struggles to bring the grid back on online, news services cooperate with the National Weather Administration to get the word out to an oblivious city population, and a whistleblower turned hacker must try to reverse the damage he unwittingly caused.
Three tornadoes converge to wreak havoc on Chicago, disrupting the power grid and creating the worst super-storm in history: a category 6 twister.
