3. The Swan

Alex Polizzi visits the sleepy Suffolk village of Monks Leigh, coming to the rescue of publicans Steven and Julie whose lifelong dream of running a village pub is turning into a nightmare. In Bramber, East Sussex, Jack and Danny have gambled everything on running Castle Inn, a 20-bedroom pub and restaurant. After six months, occupancy has plummeted & bills are sky-high. Alex steps in to try and help turn things around.

6. Plume of Feathers

Alex heads to the Malvern Hills, Worcestershire, to face one of her toughest challenges yet: 24-year-old landlord Hendrik who's never worked behind a bar in his life.Alex sets out to transform both the pub and the landlord. She knows that Hendrik needs more than business advice - he needs to find his voice and step up as a leader.

7. Platform Tavern

Alex is in the south coast maritime city of Southampton to come to the aid of pub owners Jeremy and Stewart who run the Platform Tavern. Steeped in maritime history and right next to the city's busy docks, this pub has been loved by visitors and locals alike for generations - but it's now at risk of closing its doors for good.

8. Breaks Fold Farm

Alex visits Breaks Fold Farm in the Yorkshire Dales, where she advises owners Richard and Louise about the best way to update their camping site. Alex tries to persuade the couple that they must move with the times and add luxury touches to their offerings to compete in a crowded market- and crucially to allow them to increase their prices and therefore their profit margin.
