Nagamine returns to a pension from his past. As media frenzy and police close in, the owner's daughter, Wakako, discovers his secret.

4. Episode 4

Wakako acted on discovering Nagamine's identity. Detective Oribe reflected on his family, Hiratsuka compared cases, and Kaiji hid, feeling lonely.

5. Episode 5

Takumi sees Wakako hiding Nagamine and tries to persuade her. Ayumura erupts over articles about his daughter, and Kaiji confronts Nagamine.

6. Episode 6

The police, guided by Makoto, trap Kaiji. Despite Wakako’s plea, Nagamine grabs his gun after hearing Kaiji is in Shinjuku and sees him surrounded.
