1. Episode 1

The last thing that Dr. Jin remembers is being on the roof of a hospital. He does not realize that he has traveled back in time to the mid-1800's during the Chosun Dynasty.

2. Episode 2

Dr. Jin makes the most of his time. Joseon Era and Dr. Jin rescue a young man on the brink of death. Dr. Jin trys to explain to everyone that he did not cause the injuries

3. Episode 3

The cholera epidemic continues to infect many unlucky individuals. Dr. Jin makes an effective treatment and begins to work his charms on the Emperor's fiancée.

4. Episode 4

Dr. Jin cures cholera in the emperor's territory. This earns him an important place in teaching other physicians his techniques.

5. Episode 5

Dr. Jin is making a name for himself. Although, he allowing patients to die instead of giving them medications because they have not been invented yet.

6. Episode 6

Dr. Jin needs to find his own residence. It is a difficult decision, considering that Dr. Jin saved her son, but a marriage in a position of power usurps that.

7. Episode 7

Dr. Jin confesses to Young Rae that he is from the future and knows how to save her life from a fever. Dr. Jin is placed in a position of honor when he gets to meet the Empress.

8. Episode 8

Young Rae is distressed because her mother suddenly collapsed. She has a disease that modern people know is caused by a vitamin deficiency.

Young Rae is captured by her own fiance and accused of poisoning the Emperor's mother and Dr. Jin.

Dr. Jin finds himself in an important turning point in history. The empires must fall in order for democracy to take foot in the future.

The elder Emperor sends Commander Kim to work with the elevated position of the Royal Guard. Dr. Jen also improves his position in the courts.

Dr. Jin feels obligated to perform surgery on the Emperor.

Young Rae will die if Dr. Jin does not get to her in time. To avoid marraige, Young Raw has run away and is now being stalked by the Emperor.

Dr. Jin wants to reveals his time traveling identity to another person. The elderly Emperor is on his deathbed and Dr. Jin is granted permission to perform surgery.

Dr. Jin, the neurosurgeon needs neurosurgery to relieve his painful headaches. Time is running out for his journey back to the future.

16. Episode 16

The Emperor is reminded of a promise he made to Dr. Jin. Trouble is not over yet and the Catholic man gets into danger.

17. Episode 17

The royal family deals with an ongoing Catholic conflict in their country. The Emperor asks the wary Dr. Jin to give him the history of political neighbors.

18. Episode 18

Dr. Jin loses a patient and it is the Emperor's recently pregnant courtesan. The death of this woman triggers something inside of Dr. Jin. Feeling confused and hopeless, Dr. Jin decides to end it all.

19. Episode 19

War has broken out between European outsiders, foreigners and the kingdom. Everyone is suddenly forced into making hard decisions.

21. Episode 21

Despite of Jin Hyuk and Daewongoon Heung Sun’s efforts, the French invasion of Byung In Yang Yo begins. Jin Hyuk, shocked by Choon Hong’s last words, steps up to the cliff. On the other hand, Kyung Tak tries to kidnap King Go Jong according to Byung Hee’s order to assassinate him.

22. Episode 22

At the French Invasion, the army of Chosun is helpless. Kang Hwa Island is under attack and at a critical risk of occupation. Ha Eung announces that he will take the troops himself to Kang Hwa Island to drive the French out. Ha Eung understands that he has volunteered for a crucial job that his own position depends on.
